Central Secretariat- Mandi House to be thrown open from 26th June 2014
On the 26th of June, 2014, the Central Secretariat to Mandi House route shall be opened for the public. This one belongs to the Delhi Metro. Anuj Dayal who happens to be the Executive Director of DMRC has mentioned that since the line is about to opened for commercial services so that the public can use it from the 26th of June, a clearance has been received by the Central Secretariat-Mandi House from the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety.
At around 9 30 am on the 26th of June, the Union Urban Development Minister Mr. M Venkaiah Naidu will flag off the train from the Mandi House Station itself. The underground corridor which is about 3 kilometres long consists of two stations namely, Janpath and Mandi House. This will help in interchanging the facility with the present working Line number 3. Before the commuters had to change at the Metro station of Rajiv Chowk so that they can use the Noida Dwarka line. The current changes made shall be of great help to all those who will be travelling from Noida to Dwarka.
Around 70,000 commuters shall be benefitted by the section which is among the fist lines falling under Phase number III. This one shall be thrown open for public usage very soon.
