Chanakyapuri witness high demand for premium realty plots
The slowdown in the economy has not affected the premium real estate spaces.
A Gujarat based Torrent group recently bought a residential property, close by US Embassy, 1,124 sq yards in Chanakyapuri for Rs 111 crore, at the rate of around Rs 10,00,000 per sq yard, which is the highest recorded rate in the recent past.
In the ultra premium areas of the city, there is no correction in the property prices despite the economic slowdown.
Gautam Adani of Adani Group had bought a bungalow in Golf Links for Rs 140 crore and Sandeep Jajodia, promoter of Monnet Ispat and Energy Ltd, bought a bungalow on a 2,000 sq yard plot in Shanti Niketan for Rs 170 crore.
