Now that the Botanical Garden-Kalindi Kunj Metro Project has finally been approved by the Noida Authority after three years, the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has cleared and sanctioned the proposal during one of the cabinet meetings at Lucknow on Tuesday.
The Noida Authority chairman and CEO, Mr. Rama Raman was given a positive signal by the Chief Minister and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation which happens to be an important part of the phase III of the Metro Plan.
In fact Raman has also told TOI had all the formalities have been completed so that the Memorandum of Understanding can be signed with the DMRC. One of the drafts was forwarded to the government of the state so that they can be approved in the month of May. A meeting will soon be organized with the DMRC and will begin with all the procedures. Work will begin once the payments have been completed.
By the end of March in the year 2016, a corridor which costs quite a lot of money shall definitely be completed. A large chunk of money has already been paid to the DMRC and the officials at the moment are carrying out an important survey for this project.
