Cities in India need to be planned to Improve Green
The cities in India claim to be the main reason for the increasing pollution. The cities are responsible for nearly 80% of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission. The Urban Designer and?a Planner at RV School of Architecture, Brinda Sastry reported over this issue saying that the imperative to concentrate on making cities resilient was also one of the theme of World Habitat Day. The land use patterns are considered to be one of the important factors in determining the emissions from all the cities.
