Commonwealth Games Village flats under de-sealing drive
Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Appellate Tribunal has passed orders to de-seal the flats at Commonwealth Games Village (CGV) in New Delhi.
Around 65 flats were sealed after the High Court (HC) orders were passed, 12 flats have already been de-sealed at CGV. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) had sealed these flats at CGV for having excessive floor area ratio (FAR).
The MCD tribunal had then directed the company not hand over the flats to the allottees without the permission of the high court and ministry of urban development.
Demolition of 17 unauthorized flats was done by DDA earlier during the sealing drive. The flat allottees are happy to receive their flats back and are duly thankful to the orders passed by HC.
