Complete VUDA row housing project soon: VC asks engineers
Visakhapatnam- The Europe model row housing project at Rushikonda is on the verge of completion with only few interior fixtures left. The project is being developed by Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) on an area of 6.78 acres of land.
The Vice Chairman of VUDA inspected the works completed and directed senior engineers to complete all pending works at earliest for handing over to allottees. Engineers explained him that interior works would be done after the arrival of allottees for occupation as the material is expensive and need regular usage.
The engineers told that tested and certified groundwater is available within the project area. On power supply arrangement, they said that power supply from transformers can be availed duly obtaining meters to each unit.
He asked to undertake pest control treatment for the wooden material in the residential units. The engineers were also directed to test the functioning of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and mechanism of disposal of used water.
The gated community project in Vizag is offering 88 units in four categories in ground plus first floor in duplex model. In 2007, 22 residential units were already allotted through open auction. The project is provided with solar fencing all along the compound wall.
This row housing is in close proximity to Vizag-Bheemili Beach Road with sea view. It is enveloped by IT SEZ, Ramanaidu Studio and two major residential projects namely Sunny Isles and Bay Mount which are promoted by VUDA as joint ventures.
The VUDA board has given a green signal to announce to dispose remaining units.The units would handed over to the allottees after taking up minor repairs or replacements.
Once the units are occupied and Residents’ Association is formed, the issue of developing community center within the project will be decided.
