Cong says Vadra purchased and sold land as per the rules
The Rajasthan Congress opposed the report which says that Robert Vadra purchased and sold the land and made undue windfall gain in the process.
Mr. BD Kalla, Senior Congress leader, says that BJP is raising issues which have no significance. All the dealings done by Robert Vadra was as per the rules. The land was purchased at the market price by the companies and also sold on the market prices. All the transaction is well documented and mentioned in the income tax.
The district administration mentioned in its report that 5 companies in which Robert Vadra has stakes, were involved in profit-making deals in Bikaner. These companies purchased 633 hectares of land and later sold 284 hectares and earn huge profit.
Mr. Kalla, says that BJP is making false allegation that the land was purchased at low rates. This land comes under private property that’s why the question of getting at below market price is baseless. For all the land purchase, the stamp duties were duly paid by the buyer.
He blamed that the allegations against Vadra is a desperate attempt by the BJP.
