Construction of Mega City in Chennai stopped due to burglary

1 Comment Sub Category:Chennai,Municipality,Real estate trends,Realty News Posted On: May 14, 2012

The builders, developing the mega city in Chennai are struggling to prevent the burglary of construction material from the work site.

As a result, the builders are not showing interest to participate  in the technical bid for the township projects by the Chennai Corporation.

According to corporation officials, small contractors are spreading rumors of possible pilferage of construction material, to prevent big contractors from other areas to participate in the bid.

This concern has stopped the construction of mega city projects in Chennai.

Because of this the residents of some wards in five zones of Tiruvottiyur, Manali, Ambattur, Alandur and Perungudi, will have to wait a while before a face lift is given to potholed stretches in their localities.
