Construction permission of Adarsh did not cost Rs 12 crore less charge
The permission granted for construction of the podium and condoned deficiency in open space for the Adarsh apartment. The permission was granted on the basis of Development Control Regulations of 1991.
It is being claimed that the permission leads to a loss of Rs 12 crore to the government as the premium was not paid to the government.
The former MMRDA chief said that, it was not brought to his notice that applying DCR 1991 would cost the state a loss of Rs 12 crore, as premium to be charged for allowing the podium.
CBI is investigating in the Adarsh scam and appealed to deny the bail plea by the accused in the scam.
