Construction policies for Institutional sites are revised by HUDA
The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has revised the policy to grant the extension in time for the construction on institutional sites.
In the new policy the total period of construction completion has been raised to seven years of which five years are with extension fee.
Earlier, the total construction period was five years with three years of extension fee, for the sites allotted to government departments.
In the revised plan it has been decided that institutional plots allotted to governmental departments, board and corporations and public undertakings would be given an additional five years for completing theĀ construction on the payment of double the extension fee prescribed for the previous year.
The rate of extension fee has been increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 20 in the first year, for second year from Rs. 15 to Rs. 30, for third year from Rs. 20 to Rs. 40, and for fourth year and fifth year to Rs. 50 and Rs. 60 per square meter, respectively.
The special rate for the constructions in low potential zone has been increased to Rs. 10, Rs. 15, Rs. 20, Rs. 30 and Rs. 40 per square meter for every added year.
