The Chennai Corporation has ordered the builders and the property owners not to use the public road space to store construction material for their construction work in Chennai.

The corporation also ordered the engineers to take action against those who have dumped sand and other construction material on the roads.

The residents also have to understand that the dumping on the roads will cause congestion which leads to many fatal road accidents.

While several builders stated that, the councilors often go to construction area and claim money saying that the construction materials are creating an obstruction on the road.

And they took the bribe and disappear from the site allowing the developers to stack the materials on the roads.
