Cost of properties will rise in Pune
The cost of properties in Pune are going to increase as the Pimpri Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA) has decided to increase the transfer fees and plot selling rates by 10 to 30%.
For residential areas, the selling rates would range from Rs 3,660 to Rs6,120 per square meter and for developed sectors from Rs6,230 to Rs14,490. For 50-square meter plots for residential use, the transfer fees will be Rs10,070 and for larger plots, it will be Rs20,140. For commercial properties, the authority has doubled the hike.
The authority has also decided upon the hike as per the guidelines of the state government ready reckoner rates in its jurisdiction. The hike depends on the locations and sectors.
After the decision, the cost of properties in Pune will rise sharply and the buyers have to spend more money for buying their properties.
