The Allahabad high court judgment imposing stay on 802 acres of land in Noida has affected real estate development. However, the court’s ruling was a major relief for farmers.

The project areas like sectors 74,79,112 and 119 in Noida will face a big back drop due to the judgment. Thousands of housing units are being developed in this region.

The court also ordered to the administer that without permission, no one should interfere in the land and until the next hearing no one should disturb the farmers land.

Sources said that later the village headman of Sorkha, Naresh Yadav, claimed the administration had filed a false affidavit that the farmers had not turned up for hearing on the fixed date. The court then canceled the petition after which the farmers approached the court with fresh ones seeking status quo on the said land.
