DDA plans to develop roads
New Delhi- Relief will be provided to commuters who pass by the chaotic underpass site in Sarita Vihar as Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has planned to improve the road conditions at the work site which had the underpass being constructed from four years.
This decision was taken due to a report which highlighted several problems which included lack of adequate signage, poor quality signboards (partially visible at night), absence of traffic management and insufficient barricading followed by a thick dust cover on the intersection.
It was stated by the DDA spokesperson Neemo Dhar that they are planning to construct new barricades in the place of older ones along with more traffic signals wherever required. Other infrastructural developments like new lighting for the barricades and others are also being taken place. These developments will take place by next week and will hopefully provide relief to all the troubled commuters.
