DDA to auction 38 residential plots in Delhi

Plots in DelhiNew Delhi- The Delhi Development Authority has planned to auction 38 residential plots located in different areas across the city. The auction will be held for three days, on March 13th, 14th and 15th, at the DDA auction hall, D-block in Vikas Sadan.

The auctioned plots will be available on a freehold basis in areas like Rohini, Dwarka, Pitampura, Paschim Vihar, Yamuna Vihar, Vikaspuri and Zafarabad. Corner plots and plots located on 24 meter road and above will be auctioned with a 10 percent higher reserve price as compared to reserve price of normal plots.

Among the 38 plots in Delhi, two corner plots are the most costly plots. They are located in Rohini Sector 18, with an area of 200 square meter and the reserve price of each plot is Rs 7 crore, 48 lakh. Next in the line is a corner plot in Vikaspuri C-136, with a plot area of 160 sqm and a reserve price of around Rs 6 crore.

There is only one plot available in Pitampura and one in Paschim Vihar. Pitampura plot has a reserve price of Rs 5, 53,92,040 while the Paschim Vihar plot is priced at Rs 2,50,63,500.

Two plots are available in Dwarka pocket B10, Sector 13, of which each plot has an area of almost 180 sqm and a reserve price of Rs 4,26,70,584.

Besides all these, there are 23 plots available for auction at Rohini, four at Zafarabad including two corner plots, four in Vikaspuri and three plots in Yamuna Vihar.

According to DDA official sources, the auction will be held on as is basis. If there is any tree in any of the auctioned plots, then the purchaser has to take the responsibility of obtaining permissions from concerned departments and other formalities for clearing the tree.

The Authority has advertised about the auction in 30 days advance. It has also announced that if anybody has a legal right to any of the plots, they should approach DDA along with documentary evidence within ten days. And if failed to do so then in future they will not be allowed to claim for the plots, said the officials.

The land disposal wing of DDA disposes residential plots through auctioning. The terms and conditions and other related documents are made available at DDA office, Vikas Sadan or from designated banks. The prospective bidders are requested to collect them.
