Delay in Noida Flats because of National Green Tribunal
There are currently around 20,000 buyers at Noida who are facing a delay in receiving the possession of their houses which have been completed. This is primarily because of the recent judgement by the Noida Green Tribunal which stopped Noida Authority from giving away any kind of certificate of completion for projects within about 10 kilometres of the Okhla Bird Sanctuary.
Within the next year, around 30,000 apartments found in this area are almost going to be completed. But, because of the judgement, the builders have started to give lesser and lesser focus on the completion of this project. The buyers are facing quite a lot of problems because of the delay in completion of the certificate. Most of the projects were started to Sector 74, 75,76,122 and 137. There are also many other important projects such as Amrapali, Jaypee, Logix, Gulshan Homz, Antriksh, ATS, Paramount and Supertech.
Overall, there were nearly 25 projects that were affected by this recent judgement. The interesting point here is all 25 of them had already been approved of. When the builders had started to work towards this project, they were not aware of this problem. Shiv Priya, who happens to be the executive director of Amrapali, mentioned that most of the buyers would like to take possession during the months of May and June so that the school of their children can be changed. Delivery may also be planned.
