Delay in rejuvenation of Bellandur lake
Rejuvenation of Bellandur lake at Sarjapur road in Bangalore has become a biggest challenge to namma Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and other civic bodies.
Also, for a fact that the Bellandur is the only lake in and around Bangalore surroundings which is polluted much!
The lake surrounding apartments at Sarjapur road is spread across 919.17 acres.
The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) was approached first for the rejuvenation and development work of Bellandur Lake, which even today is kept pending.
As the lake is polluted in a large scale its leading to bringing in major harm to the environment in Bangalore.
Therefore, the fed up residents, citizens, environmentalists, RWA’s are all annoyed with the delay of work by civic bodies in the city.
