Delhi Unauthorized Colonies Yet to be Regularized
The Delhi government had given provisional certificates to around 1639 colonies during the year 2008. These certificates were issued promising the citizens to regularize the colonies completely, but till date nothing has been done.
The property owners, who had bought houses in unauthorized colonies of Delhi are in a state of discontent. It has also been learn that the layout plans which were last submitted to Delhi government by Resident Welfare Associations (RWA) are of year 2008.
According to the Center regulations, boundaries are to be fixed as per the colony’s existence in 2002. However, in the past six years many new constructions have changed the shape of the colony. One of the senior Delhi government officials say that not even a single colony can be regularized at present.

Not provisional certificates were given to about 1639 colonies but these were given to approximately 1200 unauthorised colonies. Still there are many colonies in which even a single gali, naali has not been made pacca, as example in our colony; nothing is done —– named bhagya Vihar Phase-2, Rani Khera Delhi-81.
All the concerned Govt. agencies are hereby requested to make pacca all gallis, roads and naallis for water flowing. severs must be given to our colony. Regular supply of water may kindly be given to us.
