Delhi/NCR: HSIIDC to lease out new industrial/institutional plots in IMT Manesar
In a move which marks the first major allotment drive in the IMT Manesar area in the last nearly one decade, Haryana’s Industry authority HSIIDC has recently disclosed its plans to lease out new industrial and institutional plots in IMT Manesar during the ongoing financial quarter.
The sites which will be allotted in IMT Manesar this quarter include industrial plots with a land area of up to 5 acres. The sites will be allotted under the corporation’s ‘prestigious category’ scheme which is meant only for entrepreneurs who are willing to make an investment of at least Rs 30 crore in fixed assets in the region.
According to the information shared by an HSIIDC official who is overseeing the land allotment drive in IMT Manesar, the applications of only those entrepreneurs who are ready to invest a minimum of Rs 30 crore will be considered for the allotment of land.
The ‘prestigious category’ scheme in Haryana was announced last year too, when the HSIIDC had stipulated a similar minimum-investment criteria for entrepreneurs interested in establishing big-ticket businesses in the HSIIDC townships in Faridabad, Bawal and Panipat.
However, the latest land-allotment drive to allow entrepreneurs to set-up their businesses in IMT Manesar will be a comparatively more attractive option for entrepreneurs who consider Haryana as a viable business destination in NCR.
Under the latest offering, 15 new plots will be leased out for institutional use in IMT sectors 2, 3 and 5. With the ‘institutional use’ category to comprise include PSUs, educational organizations, banks and other non-profit organizations, HSIIDC officials have revealed that the deadline for applicants to send their proposals is August 25, 2014.
