According to analysts, the demand for residential properties in India will remain stagnant for some more time.

After the reduction of the Repo rate by the RBI, the real estate sector hoped for some better scenario. Bu,t it is observed that the rise in demand is not happening as per the expectation. That is why the analysts are saying that the demand will remain stagnant until there is an overall improvement in the economic scenario.

The report says that NCR and Mumbai witnessed steady escalation in housing prices during the revival period from 2009 to first half of 2011, which leads to the reduction in demand for the properties in India.

The capital value appreciations of property is happening but the demand for property is reducing day by day.The reduction in sale is encouraged by repeated interest rate hikes, rising prices and prevailing economic conditions.
