Dengue cases: Builder fined Rs 5 lakh
The government has decided to take up a strong stance against the spreading dengue fever in Bangalore.
After three students of Sophia High School died of dengue, the government seems to address the increasing number of dengue cases in the city.
The health and family welfare department directed the BBMP to impose Rs 5-lakh fine on the builder who is constructing a site adjacent to Sophia High School.
The construction near the school and unhygienic conditions prevailing on the premises are being blamed for mosquito-breeding, which may have caused three students of the school lost their lives consequently.
