Development needed in Fazilka
Though Fazilka became a district on July 27, 2011, it lacks infrastructure with several posts of district-level officers lying vacant. The additional charge of most of the vacant posts has been given to the officers posted in Ferozepur district.
The additional charge of the post of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC, Development) has been given to ADC (General) Charandev Singh Maan. Similarly, the additional charge of Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer (AETC), District Social Security Officer, District Programme Officer, Deputy Economic and Statistical Advisor, General Manager Industries, Labour Officer has been given to officers posted in Ferozepur and Muktsar areas. In some of the departments, the district level officers have not been posted even once.
The building of the infrastructure in these districts is very much necessary for the further development of the place. This is one of the major reasons why the development companies in this place are looking forward for the development of these places. The development in the Fazilka district should speed fast for the betterment of this place. The officials are also looking forward to so.
