Dilapidated buildings in UP to be used for construction of government official flats
The UP government has decided to use the wearied out buildings and unused space on the premises of Darul Shafa, the MLA quarters in order to construct 40 new Type V high-end flats for the senior government officials and ministers.
The government also has decided during Tuesday’s cabinet meet, to give twice the circle rate in urban areas and four times the compensation in rural areas, to land owners in case their land is acquired for development projects.
The cabinet also approved a proposal for Noida Authority to give bank guarantee equivalent to rebate in stamp duty for setting up the Infosys campus in Noida. The company plans to set up its project on 27.75 acres land on which it plans to invest Rs 1,400 crore.
It has still not been stated when the work will commence however it is being expected that the commencement of work might start by this year. This construction will ensure to the fact that many government officials cannot be provided with allotment due to scarcity of government flats. Hopefully this new construction will answer to this problem and help eradicating it.
