Disputed properties get place in Mumbai and Delhi

disputedDue to the seldom presence of clean titles in the market for the most coveted of India’s residential addresses, home buyers with deep pockets in Mumbai and Delhi are ready to invest even in disputed properties.

Areas in Delhi and South Mumbai having disputed properties are on sale and  involve multiple feuding owners. Further the descendants of the original owners also find  it difficult to divide these prime properties among themselves.

As a matter of fact, the increased property prices have compelled the current owners to take their share of the profits rather than carry on with the grinding litigation. However, joint owners in  most cases after settlement invite to bids.

The Lutyens’ Bungalow Zone property which was bid by Bharti Enterprises vice-chairman Rajan Bharti Mittal  for about Rs 156 crore, is an example of a property under litigation amongst the four brothers.  There are many  such cases, of brothers and owners selling and buying properties  for an extra some only because few owners disagree with the division.
