DLF becomes India’s first realty firm to get ISO certification
In a recent announcement, bigwig real estate firm DLF has revealed that it has become India’s first realty developer to receive the ISO 9001:2008 quality certification for development of housing and commercial projects.
About the ISO certification, DLF – with a prominent presence across 24 cities in 15 states – said in a statement that its DLF Home Developers Ltd subsidiary has got the certification after it has effectively met the stringent guidelines laid down by the accredited business standards firm British Standard Institute (BSI).
With ‘The Development of Commercial and Residential Complexes’ being the key focus with regard to the scope of the certification, DLF said that the “internationally recognised Quality Management system (QMS) accreditation” received by the company makes it the first real estate firm in India to achieve the honor.
About the core DLF aspects which have helped it fetch the ISO certification, DLF said that it was intensely evaluated for its adherence to delivery schedules of both residential and commercial projects, along with its quality of construction and customer satisfaction.
Asserting that “the ISO certification is a testimony to DLF’s unflinching commitment to construction quality and service standards,” a spokesperson of DLF said: “This achievement will only encourage us to further raise the bar and offer only the best to our customers.”
