DLF Project backed by investors
Most of the buyers still seem to have a sense of hope within themselves despite knowing that the government of the state has refused to allow the operation of environmental clearance. This had been handed over to the apartment project belonging to DLF Ltd located in Chilavannoor.
The project which had kicked off the year 2007 had spread over a total of 185 apartments. It covered 5.5 acres in total. According to the information delivered by several company sources, around 130 out of 185 had been sold. Jose John who happens to own about three flats in the project has mentioned recently that he feels quite sure of the fact that the government will consider the matter and probably change its decision on the matter of cancelling the environmental clearance project.
One of the officials also said that they received certain calls from investors. There were reports along with that as well. However there were no extra details given away.
On Wednesday, the chief secretary was approached by the government to intervene and find out how the company has been given clearance despite having such norms. A report has to be submitted by the chief secretary within a period of five days.
