DMRC wants to speed up land acquisition for bridge construction in Kochi
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation requested the District Collector to speed up land acquisition for starting the construction work of the four bridges for the proposed Moolampilly-Chathanad four-lane road.
According to a higher official of DMRC, the construction of the bridges are likely to start in a month.
The requisite fund for the project and all the clearances are available with Goshree Islands Development Authority (GIDA).
DMRC planned to construct the project in two phases. The total projected cost of the construction work is 97.2 crore.
