Dubai: A top property destination for Indian buyers
According to a Cluttons International Private Capital Survey 2013-14, Indians view Dubai in the same league as London and are city’s most active buyers. Other factors that encourage Indians to invest in Dubai are that it is around 4 hour flight away and has a large non resident Indian population.
Faisal Durrani, Associate residential and international research at Cluttons commented that it is no surprise that Indians are looking to invest in real estate in Dubai and now institutional players are taking interest.
The survey found out that Dubai ranks ahead of a lot of other destinations. The survey was done for nine global destinations across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region. London ranked number one and Dubai came in a close second, up from seventh place a year earlier.
Domestic and overseas buyers are increasingly seeking to buy property assets in Dubai. It is a sign of increasing interest in Dubai’s improving real estate market. High profile deals are expected to materialize soon.
