EDMC Camps to make sure that plans are sanctioned earlier
The East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) that has passed 33 building plans during a special camp which was held at its Patparganj headquarters in East Delhi. The East Delhi Municipal Corporation during a special camp that started on the 21st of July and is organized on every Monday for sanctioning of building plans and regularizing constructions as per the Building Bylaws has passed around 33 building plans in East Delhi.
By this camp, four properties have been regularized. The East Delhi Municipal Corporation has received nine new applications of building plan that will be processed in the coming week as stated by an EDMC spokesperson.
The Sanctioning of building plans take nearly up to 15 days if applied through online, while only 10 percent of the total applications are still delayed. The camp will be ensuring even earlier sanctioning of building plans, in order to encourage legalised construction as stated by him.
This new process will also help in stop delaying the work processes. Delay of plans used to be a regular problem which had been one of the many reasons why many projects had violated terms during the ground phase work.
