Eight hospitals will be constructed in Delhi
The Delhi government has planned to construct eight new hospital in the city.
This move will enhance the healthcare infrastructure of the city.
Five projects will be done in Burari, Madipur, Siraspur, Hastsal and Ambedkar Nagar while two other will be constructed in Sarita Vihar and Pooth Khurd. A 750-bedded hospital is also being set up at Dwarka.
The first five hospitals will accommodate 200 beds while the other two will serve with 100 beds.
There will be two super specialty hospitals among the eight.
This decision is taken to provide adequate facilities to the growing populations by the real estate growth in Delhi.
