Embassy Group ventures into hospitality sector with Rs 350-cr investment
Embassy Group has recently announced that it is venturing into the hospitality sector with the launch of Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLink — a move for which the Embassy Group is investing approximately Rs 350 crore.
The Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golf Link hospitality project being launched by Embassy Group is a top-notch, full service hotel located within the premises of the Embassy GolfLink Business Park. The Park is the hub of a number of Fortune 500 firms in Bangalore.
With regard to the launch, Embassy Group’s Chairman and Managing Director Jitu Virwani told the reporters that the launch of the Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLink is “our first hospitality venture.”
Virmani further added that Embassy Group is “delighted” to mark its foray into the hospitality arena with Hilton Worldwide– the biggest hospitality firm in the world.
Revealing that the cost of the hotel is “close to about Rs 350 crores,” Virmani said that there will be 247 studios and suites in the hotel. The hotel will also have four dining venues, six meeting rooms, spa, and outdoor swimming pool.
Virmani said: “We have just started on going ahead and choosing an architect and design, it is still at the preliminary stage. It will take at least good three years from today (for completion).”
