Farmers to give their land only if cases filed are taken back
Bhatta Parsaul farmers on Tuesday held a panchayat at Inter College and decided that they will not give possession of land to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority till all cases against them were withdrawn.
Through the state government promised withdrawn of cases, only a few cases were withdrawn while the rest of the farmers are on bail and facing trial. The panchayat has decided not to give possession of land till all cases are withdrawn said Bachhu Singh, farmer leader.
The farmers had to face a lot of trouble due to this problem that had come up between the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority and the farmers. This issue had been lagging behind from long and some of the farmers have also had cases filed against them. These harassments that they have faced have led to severe protest against the organisations.
Finally they have come up with the decision that they will be allowing the organisation with the land only if all the cases against them are completely taken. If it does not happens likewise they will not hand over the land.
