Formation of Telangana- KCR to be sworn in as C.M
Finally the six decade long struggle has come to an end. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which was demanding the formation of a separate state has won and their president Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao or KCR will be sworn in as a chief minister (C.M) of India’s 29th state on Monday June 2.
Telugu Desham Party (TDP)’s N. Chandrababu Naidu who had served as a C.M for Andhra Pradesh for two terms and served another two terms as a leader of the opposition party will be sworn in as the C.M of the rest of the state on June 8. Earlier there was the president’s rule imposed in the united Andhra Pradesh and now the speculations are going on whether to revoke it and what will be the situation till Naidu takes oath on June 8.
Until the full and final division happens, 44 IAS officers have been allocated to Telangana by the central government. The TRS government is all set to set up state advisory councils for various sectors including IT, biotechnology and other fields. The responsibility of these advisory councils will be to sustain growth and attract new investors.
The Rs 20,000 crore metro project will not go through any set back due to the bifurcation. This was stated by Mr V.B. Gadgil, the chief executive and managing director of L&T Hyderabad.
