Garages are changing into studios in Noida
The term ‘garage start-up’ that was etched in IT folklore by the humble beginnings of Microsoft and Apple, is acquiring a whole new meaning in Noida. If you have recently moved to Noida, are single and looking for affordable accommodation, and the first place you could be shown is not a studio apartment, but a garage.
However in Noida, private houses are increasingly converting garages into single-room pads to cash in on the tenancy boom. The inevitable fallout is a crowding of parking spaces along the lanes inside societies, and in some cases, also along the arterial roads. Most of these garage studios have sprouted in the premier residential areas in and around the defence sectors of 28 and 29.
The garage set up is acquiring a whole new meaning. This has also become a simple mean to earn revenue by setting up a garage into single room pads. This is also because of the rising musicians and the changing music scenario in our country. This has become a well to do profession and people are pursuing it whole heartedly. These studios that are usually rent out to several people help in garnering a lot of cash.
