Ghaziabad-G Noida link road to boost realty
The state authorities have approved resuming of the construction of the 22-km long link road between the two national capital region (NCR)s – Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
The approval has raised hopes of real estate developers and buyers who has invested in both the areas as there is widespread speculation that prices will rise once the construction is completed.
The link road would include the Zeta sector of Greater Noida and Crossings Republic in Ghaziabad. The road has been under construction for the last nine years. However, its construction has frequently been marred by farmer’s agitation in Greater Noida area.
The link road would reduce the 30 km travel distance between Ghaziabad and Greater Noida to 20 minutes, thus projecting the whole region as a residential hub. Analysts say that two BHK apartments in the range of Rs 15 lakh-20 lakh are most likely to come up in Greater Noida. The Zeta sector already has presence of builders like Amrapali, Assotech and Purvanchal.
