Godrej Properties launches Rs 100 cr residential project in Bangalore
A residential project in Bangalore worth Rs 100 crore was launched by Godrej Properties in a joint venture with actor Fardeen Khan and his sister Laila Khan.
Godrej Gold Country, a 12-acre premium residential property, will come up on the outskirts of the city in Chikkabidarakallu village owned by late Bollywood actor Feroze Khan.
Pirojsha Godrej, managing director and CEO of Godrej Properties, the realty arm of the Godrej Group said that they have already sold 10 per cent of the project in Bangalore.
Fardeen Khan said that they will be getting 37 per cent of the profit from the project, which will include 87 villas costing upward of Rs 2 crore each.
Godrej Properties plans to launch five more projects totalling 4 million sq ft over the next few months.
A Rs 770-core residential development fund, led by global pension fund APG and SparInvest Property Investors has been created by the company. The fund money will be used for residential development across Mumbai, National Capital Region and Bangalore.
