GoM clears Land Acquisition Bill
The long delayed controversial Land Acquisition Bill was cleared by the Group of Ministers (GoM) and will introduce in the Parliament.
About two third of the land loser’s consent is being proposed in the final draft in order to purchase the land for public-private-partnership and private projects.
The bill will be introduced in Parliament, possibly in the Winter Session, said Law Minister Salman Khurshid.
However, the final draft is ready and the issues which had different views were successfully brought to understanding. The GoM consisted of 14 members.
