Government Encroached Land Demolished in New Delhi

Land encroachment has been increasing, with the rise of every new morning the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has been witnessing the similar case and since a week the council has demolished nearly 60 commercial out-lets in Delhi. This was traced at the Sujan Singh Park, New Delhi for encroaching the government owned land, this case was taken to the concern of the Supreme court. Supreme court henceforth appointed a wing of civic agency to have a thorough check up over these issues. One of the NDMC officials reported saying that the civic agency had long back warned these builders, but they never seemed to obey the orders of these officials.

The official added on saying that they had no other way but to demolish those buildings. It was found that majority of the land was government encroached lands and the demolition drive took serious turns only when the shop owners continued working even after the demolition drive was started. The state government and the  New Delhi Municipal Council has decided to lay down strict rules in concern with the land encroachment to stop them spreading all over the city.
