HC asks BBMP to evict staff from buildings
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has been asked by the High Court to maintain buildings allotted to its staff and ensure livable condition in them.
The high court has directed the BBMP commissioner to temporarily evict the occupants of a BBMP residential complex at Kumbaragundi, JC Road, until it is fit for human habitation.
The direction came during hearing of a petition filed by a BBMP clerk that the building he has been allotted was in a dilapidated condition.
