Height hurdle running among with MLA QRTS
225-flat construction happening at Hyderabad which would house MLAs and MLCs of Telengana and Andhra Pradesh, now hits a roadblock ever since the GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) that allowed permits for high-rises in the city woke up to the fact that the structural height of the building was indeed a violation to the rules of construction for Hyderabad.
Keeping in mind the lack of residential properties for MLAs and MLCs, it was the R&B (The Roads and Buildings department) that has come forward with a proposal to construct MSB’s or Multi-Storeyed buildings with the following;
- Two hundred and twenty four flats
- Quarters for the staff of MLAs and MLCs
- A club house for all [Height hurdle running among with MLA QRTS] 225-fla
- A commercial hub
- Servant quarters, all of which would need 2.5 acres of the land owned by the government at Hyderguda, says a source.
The R&B department gave a nod to having the following;
- Three cellars
- G+12 floors at 39 meters alone
Sources say, nearly ninety percent of the construction is dine with and the commissioner said probing would be done for facts on the issues of violation as per construction rules.
