High rising apartments in Nagpur require new NOC from fire department
The Municipal Corporation of Nagpur has planned to introduce new modified NOC for the high rising apartments in Nagpur.
The updated NOC needs to be collect by the new buildings with a height of over 25 meters. The standing committee will approve the new NOC structure for the fire safety.
NOC from the fire safety department is must before sanctioning any high rise apartment plan in Nagpur, but the fire safety department does not have proper infrastructure to serve these high rising apartments.
To get the infrastructure and equipment, the fire department needs to raise funds.
At present, highest building in the city is only 42 meters. However, construction of taller buildings have started. Godrej’s Anandam Township in Nagpur is recorded to be 64 meters tall.
