Highway projects will be on priority in Punjab
The deputy chief minister of Punjab has told the respective department for the construction of six major national highway projects, to complete them in stipulated time.
The construction cost of the Amritsar-Sri Ganga Nagar road is estimated at Rs. 3000 crore, and the cost of construction of Patiala-Bathinda four-laned road is estimated at Rs 2007 crore.
Both the projects will be completed by 2015.
The other projects are four-laning of Zirakpur-Patiala road, Ludhiana-Moga-Talwandi Bhai road, Kharar-Ludhiana national highway and Shambhu border-Jalandhar road.
The real estate projects at Ludhiana will be benefited by these infrastructure development.
All these projects will be completed by 2013, 2014 and 2016.
