HMDA collects Rs 125 crore through auction
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has collected Rs 125 crore through the auction of 42 plots in the city.
The HMDA got Rs 84.74 crore for over four acres of land in Nandagiri Hills, the most prized possession of the authority. NetNet Ventures Pvt Ltd,bought the plot for Rs 18.5 crore per acre against the upset price of Rs 18 crore per acre.
HMDA officials said 235 individuals and firms had filed e-bids with 178 bids coming as sealed tenders. The commissioner said revenue from the auction would be spent on ongoing projects of the HMDA.
However, there were six such plots which had no takers when the auction concluded.
