HNIs pushing up the demand for premium real estate projects
Analysts state that fast growing number of high net worth individuals (HNI) in India have pushed up the demand for luxury apartments. Approximately 40 per cent of the real estate sector caters to their investment portfolio.
Rs 1 – 15 crore are witnessing higher demand in the cities such as Gurgaon, Bangalore and Pune. The demand for these projects are generated mostly from expats, NRI’s and HNI’s.
A variety of new product ranging from designer style apartments to branded luxury residences are coming up to attract the segment.
Mahagun Marvella, Raheja Revanta, Lodha Aurum Grande, Oberoi Exquisite, Almira, Nirvana Country2 Espace Premiere and Orris Aster Court are some of the premium projects coming up.
The capital values of these luxury apartments’ varies from Rs 6,000-15,000 per sq ft , depending upon services offered and location of the project.
