Home buyers of Purab Premium Apartments wants to cancel allotments
More than 300 applicants of Purab Premium Apartments have already demanded to cancel their allotments and to refund their money.
The applicants wants to opt out as the government has putĀ a five-year lock-in period for sale or transfer of the flats under the scheme.
Most of the applicants said that they were not aware of the clause of five years lock period while applying for the scheme. Hence many of them had applied for multiple flats.
GDMA has invited applications for 4,500 flats, but due to five years lock-in period, the authorities did not get large number of applicants. 6500 applications were submitted against 6300 apartments in Mohali.
