IL&FS Engg bags contract worth Rs 326 for Bangalore Metro
IL&FS is a popular Engineering and Construction Company based in Hyderabad. The company came into limelight quite recently when it bagged the Bangalore Metro Contract, a plum project at Rs 326.99 crore. This contract has been bagged from BMRCL or Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited. As part of this contract, the company will construct the viaduct or elevated structures, a length of almost 3.945 km. Also the project is expected to get completed in the span of 27 months from LOA or the date when the Letter of Acceptance is issued. This news was shared by the company this Friday to the Stock Exchange.
Currently, the company is responsible for the execution of two contracts. These contracts have been signed with RMRG or Rapid Metro Rail Gurgaon. As part of this project, the company is going to construct an elevated viaduct with a double track. The cost of this project is Rs 255.84 crore. Another project involves the construction of 5 elevated stations. This project is worth Rs 84.30 crore and going to be completed in Gurgaon, Haryana. Besides these projects, the signing of a contract with BMRCL for the much talked about Bangalore Metro Contract is truly a feather in the cap for IF&CL.
