IL&FS Engineering Service bags a project in Mumbai
The IL&FS Engineering Services Ltd has said that it has received a letter of Intent for Rs. 105 crore worth buildings work in Mumbai. According to a company statement, the contract is from the Lodha Group for civil construction works. The contract is for the 18 proposed G+15 residential buildings in Phase II of its Palava project that is going to be located in Mumbai.
The Rs. 105-crore contract will have to be executed within 332 days. The IL&FS Engineering Services is currently executing ‘Orchid Heights’ which is a high-rise residential buildings project that is located at Byculla in Mumbai. The construction works involves of two high-rise towers.
The commencement of the construction work has yet not been stated by the Engineering group or by Lodha group. But hopefully the work will commence soon. The work might also be expected to be finished within a year’s term. This is mainly why the work has been given to a construction company which has a lot of experience in this kind of work. The required sanctions and other environmental clearances might delay the start a bit but hopefully the project might start in this year.
