Illegal construction in Margao
The Margao Municipal Corporation will inspect an illegal construction site near Shri Krishna temple at Pajifond, Margao. The president of the temple committee has filed a complaint last week, with the MMC demanding the MMC to resolve the matter regarding the alleged illegal construction.
The devotees of the temple gathered in front of the construction site and attempted to demolish the construction work. The temple committee wants to remove the constructed portion near the temple. In case of any illegality, the municipality will take necessary action.
The municipality has also planned to hear the concerns of both the parties. The MMC officials have submitted a show-cause notice to the proprietors of the construction near the temple.
