Illegal Construction of Building banned at Juhugaon in Navi Mumbai
On Wednesday in Navi Mumbai, an illegal building was completely demolished by the officials of the Controller of Unauthorized Construction (CUC). This took place in sector 12 of Juhugaon on a plot belonging to Cidco. This is not the first, but a second time in which we see the officials taking up the cumbersome task of tearing down a construction on the same plot.
The notice of illegal construction was reported to the Cidco after the media took the initiative of highlighting this building and its existence during an important report. Uttam Yadav, who happens to be an assistant of Cidco mentioned that the building measured around 1000 square kilometres and was built by the locals themselves on the mentioned plot. Once the foundation level of the structure had come to an end, the entire activity was successfully carried out. This event took place even after the Cidco took the initiative of fencing the area. However, once can easily say that not much protest was created when it came to the locals, since they evacuated the flats without creating any kind of fuss or chaos.
