Illegal parking in South Ex to be clamped: HC
Due to the congestion caused by illegal parking in South Extension, Delhi High Court has directed the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) and the traffic police to clap down on illegal parking in markets, lanes adjoining residential areas in the South Extension.
A status will be filed by November 23 by the police and the civic body.
The order was declared due to the petition filed by the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of South Extension-I. Also the court issued a notice to the Kotla Mubarakpur police station.
The traffic police of area are directed to ensure a free flow of traffic by Justice GS Sistani. It was also seen that there is illegal parking in places where parking is restricted.
